How many midnight drives did Harry and Taylor go on, and other questions I have for pop stars

I love pop music. The worst the song, the more I dance to it. Enter: Stitches by Shawn Mendes.

But not only do I love bad/good pop music, I love decoding each song because a lot of pop stars write about their famous flings and there's nothing PMS loves more than some celebrity gossip.

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles

So here's where I ask, How many midnight drives did Harry Styles and Taylor Swift go on exactly.

In Taylor Swift's song "Style," she sings, "Midnight/you come and pick me up/no headlights/long drive/could end in burning flame or paradise" in the first verse.

"Style" is obviously about Harry Styles because Harry and Taylor dated and the song is called "Style" and I feel like I shouldn't have to explain that, but just in case, here's this blog.

So, ok, basically all of "Style" takes place in a car ride and the video even features a lot of car riding, even with the male subject driving and Tay sitting in the back creepily and it reminds me of an Uber ride and lol.

So a few weeks ago, One Direction (a band Harry Styles is in) released a song called "Perfect" and it's so tragically obviously about Taylor Swift, but I'm going to go ahead and draw it out for you.

"When I first saw you from across the room, I could tell that you were curious." This could be a nod to the fact that Harry and Taylor first met at the Kids Choice Awards way back when. Taylor then went on to write "I Knew You Were Trouble" about him and the clue in her liner notes was, "WHEN YOU SAW ME DANCING." Enter this clip of Taylor dancing to Harry and the gang's performance.

"But if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms." They were photographed a lot outside hotels.

"And if you like midnight driving with the windows down." Car rides again. Like how many were there?????????????

"And if you like going places we can't even pronounce." I just feel like they traveled a lot because in "I Knew You Were Trouble," she sings, "Flew me to places I've never been."

"If you like to do whatever you've been dreaming about..." HELLO, WILDEST DREAMS.

"And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out." I mean.

"And if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about." I mean, c'mon.

Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran
I'm not done. No sir. Not done.

When I first heard Ellie's new song "On My Mind," I was like, Is this about Dougie Poynter, the first bass player I ever loved from the band McFly??????

And then I listened closer and I was like wait lol this song isn't that nice. It's pretty common knowledge that Ed Sheeran's "Don't" is about Ellie and how she cheated on Ed with Niall Horan from One Direction and lol those 1D boys.

But let's take a listen to Ellie's song "On My Mind."

"Next thing that I know I'm in a hotel with you." Could very well be a sign from Ed's "Don't" "...(knock, knock, knock) on my hotel door."

"You wanted my heart, but I just liked your tattoos." Ed has tattoos, so.

"You don't mess with love, you mess with the truth." And here's the big one. The chorus of "Don't" is "Don't eff with my love" and now Ellie is saying "I didn't mess with love, you messed with the truth." My question: Who is telling the truth??? Will I be able to sleep at night???? Is Taylor stuck in the middle of all this???? Does Dougie need someone to confide in???? hi.

Bam. Bam. Goodbye. I'm a pop song genius.
